Bac Orchids is the family nursery of brothers Dico and Gert-Jan Bac. Across three locations along the Herenweg in Moerkapelle, we grow more than 100 varieties of large-flowered cut Cymbidium on 5.6 hectares. Separate greenhouse sections make a broad season possible, from September through June.
More than 100 varieties. One specialism.
Our full attention is devoted to large-flowered cut Cymbidium. We look for strong varieties with clear colours, creating an assortment with breadth and a recognisable character.
Custom packing for export
Customer requirements determine how we grade and pack. We develop custom packing and logistics, particularly for air-freight destinations. Through a network of exporters, our flowers reach customers around the world.
Family, craftsmanship and continuity
What began with vegetables in 1965 has grown into a specialist Cymbidium nursery. That history still shapes our daily work: direct communication, knowledge of the crop and attention to every stem.
