Large-flowered Cymbidium needs very little to command a space. One stem in a tall vase reveals the line of the flower; several stems bring rhythm, colour and volume to a larger design.
Let the flower lead
The shape of the stem and the sequence of its flowers naturally guide a composition. Combine different colours for contrast, or use a single tone for a calmer, more graphic result.
